The Aberdare Ranges are situated west of Mt. Kenya in the central highlands between Nyeri and Naivasha, and stretch 70km long from North to South. Our entry point will be the Njabini Forest Station (former Kinangop South Forest Station), about 4km from Njabini shopping centre.

• Terrain: Dirt road leading to swampy trail in bamboo zone, before turning to rock in alpine zone.
