Depart Nairobi in the morning driving across the equator from the Southern to the Northern Hemisphere, and onwards to the semi-arid region of the Samburu Game Reserve.The next two days are spent game viewing in Samburu National Reserve. Samburu is known for its unique species like the Gravy’s zebra, the long necked gerenuk among other species. Arrive at the lodge/camp in time for lunch, followed by some leisure hours for a siesta before you depart for an afternoon game viewing drive. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will start with early game drive. You will spend the full in the Samburu Game Reserve searching for the big five, the Samburu five and enjoying the beautiful unspoiled scenery during morning and afternoon game viewing drives. The park is plentiful with crocodiles that bask on muddy riverbanks and velvet monkeys that frolic in the late afternoon sun. Samburu is renowned for its rare species of fauna known as the ‘Samburu five’, only found north of the equator – the long necked gerenuk, the reticulated giraffe , the Grevy’s zebra, the beisaoryx ,the Somali ostrich males which have blue-grey necks and thighs. All meals will be at your lodge/camp. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Depart Samburu after breakfast and drive to the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya/Aberdare Ranges arriving at your lode/camp in time for lunch. Aberdare National Park is renowned for its game viewing of wild animals such as Lion, Baboons, Black and white monkeys, Leopards among others. Relax the afternoon away as you watch game from the balconies or take an optional guided nature walk.
Overnight floodlit game viewing – Mountain Lodge or the Ark Limited or treetops Tree Hotel. All this lodges boast of having the highest record of animal visits and sightings in the area.Dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast at your lodge, depart Aberdare National Park for Lake Baringo, driving across the Northern Frontier District to Lake Baringo arriving in time for lunch and check in at your lodge/camp. Lake Baringo is a fresh water Rift Valley lake, famous for its magnificent bird life. Lake Baringo is well known for two of its waters’ residents–Hippo and Crocodile. Hippos are seen in the lake on boat trips, and at Lakeside lodges and camps. They are seen also seen at night grazing the lawns.

After breakfast we travel to the exotic Lake Nakuru National Park located in the Great Rift Valley. After lunch an exciting game run is planned for the afternoon. The game in this park is plentiful and the magnificent bird watching will make a devotee out of even the most reluctant. The Park is a home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent pink stretch.
The bird life here is world renown and over 400 bird’s species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the white Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast at your lodge, Depart Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara Game Reserve, jewel of Kenya’s Game Park, arriving just in time for lunch. This enormous Reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is a true home of the big five-Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Cape Buffalo. After lunch, have a siesta before embarking on a game drive. Return for dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp Lodge.

After breakfast, leave for a full day’s game drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve with a picnic lunch by Mara River with views of hippos and crocodiles. Our morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Masai Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunsets well-worth capturing on camera.
The vast Masai Mara offers abundance of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos and bird species. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal or surveying the wild plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but reasonably common. Return to lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Depart Masai Mara after breakfast, our destination is Lake Naivsaha. We arrive in time for lunch at our lodge by the lake and early afternoon, we take an optional boat ride. Alternatively, a nature walk at Crescent Island is an excellent way to see wild animals while on foot.
The Island is a private game sanctuary, which is home to zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, Vervet monkeys, hares, genet cats, waterbuck and giraffe. Alternatively,you may wish to lounge by the pool admiring the view of zebras, Giraffes and waterbuck just outside the fence.Return to lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Depart Lake Naivasha after breakfast to our next destination, Amboseli, home to the legendary Masai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of Elephant. Amboseli is big game country: Lion, Cheetah antelope, Zebra, Wildebeest, buffalo and giraffe. The afterrnoon game driveis planned to introduce you to intense beauty and drama that fill each day here. Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, can be seen from the lodges. Return to lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Rise up early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit and we set off for another extensive game drive after breakfast. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest, Giraffes, and Baboons.
Masai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Depart Amboseli after breakfast to Tsavo West National Park. The Park is a vast expansion of African savanna with a more diverse array of habitats which include open plains, semi desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills and rock outcrops. Some of the wildlife you will see include Tsavo’s famous – the Red Elephants, Oryx, and Gerenuk among other mammal’s species and bird life. Other notable features include Mzima Springs which are water source for Mombasa Town, Shetani Lava Flow and Ash cones, which is an example of recent volcanic eruption. Movie the Ghost and the Darkness was shot here. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Early morning game drive in Tsavo West then return for breakfast and depart by road to Tsavo East National Park. There are many interesting aspects in the open areas of Tsavo East not least the spine of the Yatta Plateau, one of the world’s longest lava flows. An additional attraction is the Athi River flanked by stately doum palms which, near the Manyani gate forms the Lugard Falls, a long stretch of rippling white water cataracts and a favorite haunt for sunbathing crocodiles. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.
