Uganda Safari
Depart from Kampala/Entebbe in the morning and proceed to Kibale Forest National Park, the most accessible of Uganda’s major rainforests. Kibale is home to a remarkable 13 primate species, including the much localized red colobus and L’Hoest’s monkey. Kibale’s major attraction, however, is the opportunity to track habituated chimps – these delightful apes, more closely related to humans than to any other living creature, and are tremendous fun to watch as they squabble and play in fruiting trees.The drive to Kibale will take you 4-5 hours arriving at your lodge in Kibale early afternoon in time for lunch and check in at your lodge. After lunch, you will have the afternoon free to relax or enjoy a nature walk in Kibale Park (Batooro and Bakiga) for cultural performances and traditional dances. Dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will assemble at your briefing point for your Uganda Chimpanzee tour. Your primate walk will start from Kanyanchu River camp at 0800 Hours and it will last for 2-4 hours. It is the most popular walk, highlighting diversity of different animals and plants species within the forest. This walk is restricted to three groups of six persons each, in the morning and the same number in the afternoon. We will be searching for chimpanzees and other primates including the black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed and grey-cheeked manga bays swinging through the dense forest and variety of bird species, butterflies and many insects in close quarters. After the chimp experience, you will return to your lodge for lunch and check out and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After breakfast, you have an early morning game to catch the lions, hyenas hunting before they disappear into the thickets. Other animals to see on the game drive are include Cape buffalo, the handsome Uganda kob, warthog, elephant, leopard, waterbuck. After lunch, take a cruise on the Kazinga channel a haven that has over 600 bird types, hippos, crocodiles, Cape buffalo.

After a relaxed yummy breakfast, check out and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, host to the Mountain Gorillas. Arrive in time for lunch and check in. After lunch relax or go for an evening village walk or souvenir shopping in the local craft shops. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Early morning breakfast followed by guide briefing and then set off for your gorilla tracking in the forests of Bwindi. Trekking time in unpredictable, it may last only 3 hours or up to 8 hours or more of the day sometimes with rain overhead so be prepared with sturdy hiking boots, waterproof jacket. This Park is best known for the fascinating gorillas, where the time taken to find them and terrain varies according to the movements of these marvelous primates. Though the time spent to track down these Gorillas is unpredictable, the thrill of spending time and observing these gentle giant gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure that will leave you with long lasting memories of a truly unique experience. The gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they play and interact. You will have packed lunch and drinking water for this trekking.For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. After a satisfactory trek, return to the lodge/camp for a well-deserved hot shower, dinner and sleep.

After a relaxed breakfast with great memories of the mountain gorillas depart Bwindi heading to Lake Mburo National Park, the best place in the country to see the gigantic eland antelope, as well as zebra, topi, impala, and several acacia-associated birds. On arrival to the Park, enjoy thegame drive en route to the lodge. Wildlife here includes the elusive leopard, jackals, hyenas, zebra and the newly introduced giraffes among others. Dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, before going out on a safari on foot – a nature walk in the park accompanied by an armed ranger. Return from the safari on foot to embark on the drive to Kampala/Entebbe with a stop to buy souvenirs and have lunch at the equator.
