Dhahabu Tours and Safaris

We will depart Nairobi early in the morning, around 0700 hours. We drive down the scenic escarpment of The Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at Rift Valley Escarpment. The dawn drive takes in the African sunrise, Rift valley escarpment and Masai plains. We arrive at Masai Mara Game Reserve in time for lunch, and after check-in take the first game drive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. After the game drive return to the camp/lodge where you can either relax, visit the Masai village, or absorb the surroundings of the camp before dinner.

After breakfast, leave for a full day’s game drive to Masai Mara, Kenya’s finest wildlife and a picnic lunch by Mara River with views of hippos and crocodiles. Our morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Masai Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunsets well-worth capturing on camera. The vast Masai Mara offers abundance of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos and bird species. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal or surveying the wild plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but reasonably common. Return to lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

We start with early breakfast and early game drive from 06:00 hrs to 10:00 hrs. After the game drive we will start out back to bustling Nairobi, arriving in Nairobi at around 16:00 hrs.
